RacingLine Billet Air Conditioning Caps - VW/Audi

Welcome to the RacingLine billet aluminium Air Conditioning cap set to replace the brittle factory-fitted plastic caps for all later VAG models.

Supplied as a pair - simply unscrew the old, and screw on the new RacingLine caps.

Whether completing an engine bay refresh or simply replacing ageing, brittle plastic components, this pair of billet aluminium AC caps provide a simple upgrade that blends durability with clean, OEM-plus styling.

•  The billet AC caps are completely 'plug and play', requiring no system re-gas at any stage - simply screw them on, and screw them off again whenever needed.
•  Choose your RacingLine caps depending on whether the OEM plastic caps are black or grey coloured . This ensures compatibility with either the older R134A systems using the black caps, or the newer R1234YF systems fitted with grey caps from circa 2017 onwards.

VAG models use two air-conditioning gas types, identified by either black or grey caps. So there are two choices for your RacingLine Air Conditioning Caps.

Therefore, it's important to check whether your car has OE black or grey air condition caps before you order. As a guide, the general split date is around 2017

Before 2017, most cars have Black Caps with the older R134A air-con gas, requiring VWR190012 part number.

2018-onward cars mostly have Grey Caps with the newer R1234YF air-con, and need RacingLine caps VWR190011.

But these vary by build-dates, model and country of sale.

Therefore always verify which colour of OE caps are on your own car first.
