19-Row Core, 295mm × 185mm, 80°C Thermostat Opening

The S-Type kit uses a 19-row stacked-plate core, 295mm × 185mm × 55mm, with AN-10 connections, slightly larger than the FA20 kit (AT012) to account for the FA24's higher oil volume and flow rate. Thermostat opening temperature is 80°C (176°F), calibrated for the FA24's slightly higher normal operating oil temperature. The larger core provides approximately 18–28°C oil temperature reduction under sustained track conditions. Total added oil volume is approximately 0.6 liters.

FA24 Oil System and Higher Operating Temperature

The FA24's additional power output over the FA20 means more heat is generated in the oil during extended performance driving. The thermostat in the S-Type kit ensures the oil reaches operating temperature normally before the cooler comes online. Critical for cold-start protection and short-trip operation. Once at temperature, the cooler maintains oil temperature in the optimal range.
